Our Mandate
To work in collaboration with other equity offices and partners included but not limited to faculty members and support staff regarding students’ perspectives on issues relating to racism, including, but not limited to: diversity; discrimination; hate and extremism; racial equity; xenophobia; Islamophobia; anti-Semitism; and the lived experiences of persons of colour.
To provide support, resources and the space for students to network and safely discuss and express their concerns related to their academic journey.
Our objective is to create awareness and openly discuss the impact racist structures have on students' emotional, psychological and academic progress in Canadian Universities.
